| How to Clean Your Fryer |
Before Using Fryer- Initial Cleaning:
You need to clean your fryer before the first use. Fill your fryer full of water
(leave about 2 1/2 - 3 inches from the top, this will allow room for the water to
boil with out spilling over the side of the fryer), place the baskets and required
number of Degreaser Tablets, into the unit. Bring to a boil, and maintain a boil
for 30-40 minutes. Let the detergent-water cool, then use the drain-plug to
remove the soiled water. Rinse the unit well. Towel dry the unit before adding
the oil.
After 5-7 Cookings:
Filter the oil into a clean container. Remove any debris, such as large pieces of
food or bones from the unit. Fill the Fryer with water, place the baskets and
required number of Degreaser Tablets into the unit. Bring to a boil, and maintain
a boil for 30-40 minutes. Let the detergent-water cool, then use the drain-plug to
remove the soiled water. Rinse the unit well. Towel dry the unit before replacing
the oil back into the clean unit. Top off the oil and you are ready to begin
cooking. (When you store your unit, be sure to coat the unit with a cooking
spray to prevent rust.)
